    We Are Hiring

    Business Development Specialist

    Develop a marketing program and strategy for long-term success across portfolio of client prospects, evaluating their effectiveness. Use internal and external data sets to understand how to best help client business, identifying factors affecting demand and potential markets. Determine client marketplace position through forecasting and tracking marketing/sales trends and monitoring industry statistics. Drive exclusive leads adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing ToLocal marketing categories. Present reports and analysis on customer habits and demographics, as well as competitor sales and marketing findings, to management and C-level executives for outside partners. Manage client and agency relationships in performance marketing space; maintain high level of outreach via email, phone and meetings to ensure a strong business pipeline. Act as a thought-leader and work closely with internal team and clients to ensure proper execution and alignment with customer objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with partner’s engineers to onboard new clients.


    Requires:

    master’s degree in marketing research, marketing, MBA, or related. Position based at the company headquarters in San Jose, CA, or can be home-office based within 50 miles of San Jose. For home-office based employees, occasional travel on short notice to our office in San Jose for meetings, etc. will be necessary.
